Offendersearch
No code · 100% US coverage

Offender screening your whole team can run.

Search every US registry by typing a name. Upload a CSV and screen a whole list. Keep an audit trail automatically, add teammates, and graduate to the API only if you ever want to. Continuously updated, enterprise-grade data underneath.

The dashboard

Everything screening needs, nothing to install

Search a person in seconds

Type a name — add a date of birth, age, city or ZIP when you have one — and search all 58 US registries at once. The answer comes back in plain words: no match found, or a set of profiles to review with photographs and official record links.

Upload a list, screen everyone

Bring a CSV straight from your applicant system or spreadsheet — your own columns ride along untouched. Every row becomes one search, and every row comes back marked clear or review, so screening a season of volunteers takes minutes, not a week.

Every search is on the record

Who was checked, when, what you searched, and exactly what came back — stored automatically. When a decision is questioned months later, you produce the record you actually saw, not a memory of it.

Bring your whole team

Add teammates to the account so screening is not one person’s browser tab. Everyone works from the same data, the same history and the same bill.

The API is there when you are ready

Nothing about your account changes when your developers want screening inside your own system: same data, same pricing, one enterprise-grade API call per search.

Who uses it

Built for the people who do the checking

Schools & youth programs

Screen coaches, volunteers and contractors before they are around students — and re-screen each season from the list you already have.

Property management

A registry check on every application, with the record stored beside the decision.

Healthcare & home care

Caregivers enter homes alone. Check them nationally, not just in your state.

Staffing & HR

Add a national registry check to onboarding without waiting on an engineering ticket.

FAQ

Screening without code

Do I need a developer to use this?

No. Everything on this page happens in the dashboard: sign up, type a name or upload a CSV, and read the results. The API exists for teams that later want screening inside their own software, and it uses the same account and data — but nothing requires it.

How is this better than checking state websites myself?

A state website answers for one state, saves nothing, and covers one name at a time. One search here covers 100% of US registries at once, stores every search with its results as an audit trail, matches misspellings and nicknames, and lets you screen a whole list in one upload.

What does it cost?

Your first 25 searches are free, with no card required. After that every search is $0.15 — no seats, no minimum, no annual contract — so a small program pays a few dollars a month and a large one scales without a procurement cycle.

What shows up in a result?

Each possible match is a full profile: photograph, name and aliases, date of birth or age, addresses, physical description, offense history and flags, with a link to the official registry record and a plain explanation of why it matched. A clear answer says so explicitly after every registry has been searched.

Can we use results to make hiring or housing decisions?

Offendersearch is not a consumer reporting agency and results are not a consumer report, so they must not be used for FCRA-covered decisions without appropriate process. Use is subject to our acceptable-use terms and applicable law.
