How to find registered sex offenders near an address
Start with a ZIP code, or a street address for a more exact answer. The search works outward from that point over a radius you choose, one mile by default and up to 100 miles, and returns everyone registered at a published address inside it. Each result carries the registrant’s photograph, address, offenses and a link to the official registry entry.
Results come back as a list of records, not only pins on a map. Radius matching only sees registrants whose published address can be placed, so people listed as transient will not appear by location. Registry information is published so people can take sensible precautions. Many states prohibit using it to threaten, harass or intimidate a registrant or their family, and doing so can be a crime. Confirm a record on the official registry before you act on it, and remember that a shared name is not a match.
