## Test without live calls

Sandbox orders run the full order, search, dispute and webhook flow with deterministic results, no live calls and no charges. The subject’s **last name** picks the outcome:

| subject.lastName | What you get |
| --- | --- |
| `Clear` | Every search completes `clear`. |
| `Records` | One furnished record per search, `records_found`. |
| `Withheld` | No records, only withheld counts by reason. |
| `Unavailable` | A search ends `unavailable`, result `incomplete`. |
| `Dispute` | One furnished record whose dispute resolves `deleted` about a minute after you open it. |

Any other last name returns `clear`. Sandbox is a setting on your partner account, enabled by our team — ask for it when you request FCRA Partner Access. Sandbox orders are never metered, and every sandbox record carries `sandbox: true` and an id beginning `sandbox:`.
